Summary of Organization

Justice Technology Association is the first and only organization bringing together like-minded tech entrepreneurs in pursuit of equity in the justice system. We are an entirely volunteer-driven, nonprofit trade organization and foundation dedicated to supporting the change makers building innovative solutions designed to modernize interaction with the legal system, making it more accessible, efficient and fair for everyone.

Position Overview

Overall work of JTA:

We work to improve access to justice via technology.

We have built a robust justice tech ecosystem: a curated group of justice tech solutions for consumers’ legal needs, funding opportunities for investors, aggregated data for policy experts and reform advocates, and a broad network of like-minded organizations and individuals including courts, clinics, and academia.

We work to eliminate roadblocks faced by justice tech organizations, and provide our members with a broad and growing set of member benefits to help them grow their impact.

We educate the public about how tech can improve access and administration of legal services, and amplify awareness of access to justice issues, initiatives, and opportunities.

Our north star is equal access to justice for all.

High-level synopsis: We launched JTA in March 2022 and quickly generated global interest among founders, reform advocates, investors, and mission-aligned organizations –and we need your help to continue building momentum and operationalizing offers of support and collaboration.

This position offers significant opportunities to be part of an industry-first organization and to get directly involved in the Justice Tech community. You’ll be building a new nonprofit and ecosystem, connecting with cutting-edge Justice Tech companies and our illustrious Advisory Board, and researching, writing, and advocating for reform and the immense promise and opportunity of Justice Tech.
